If you struggle to alleviate your anxiety day to day, keeping a journal might be the answer. In the past, many people separated themselves from the stigmatism that comes with anxiety, but the reality is that it affects us all. The stress, pressures, fears, and expectations that come with being a person in this world are unavoidable.
Alleviate Your Anxiety By Using A Journal To Clear Your Busy Brain
Understanding Anxiety and the Different Ways to Use Journaling to Manage the Mind
Some cases of anxiety are more severe than others and encourage the idea that we should all be willing to understand it better. When we understand the struggles that come with mental health, we can address them. When we address them, we can find ways to make them manageable and actually change our lives for the better.
After suffering a breakdown in 2014 (my second, btw before I turned 28), I discovered mindfulness and the power of journaling and I haven’t looked back. It truly transformed my life for the better and I’ve been mentally strong and able to cope with life so much better.
Alleviate Anxiety With A Journal & Add New Perspective
Navigating the complexities of what defines truth and false beliefs, you need to understand that these thoughts can be holding you back. Write down what your mind is telling you. Then, write down three separate truths in a journal will reinforce perspective.
After doing this, it’s pretty easy to actually recognise the truth. When you are not sure where to start, you start by writing your thoughts down in general terms. Like a free-flow writing exercise. Pour your heart out.
Implementing Journaling into Your Routine is as Simple as Starting
Starting anything new can be overwhelming so here are a few tips to get you moving in the right direction:
Start small. You don’t have to write a novel. When it comes to writing down your thoughts, even 5-15 minutes can make a huge difference.
Write the things you wish you could say out loud to the world. Write down the things that are concerning you.
You can also begin to describe what is happening in your mind and around you. Most anxiety does not come from what has occurred, but the fear of what is going to happen. If you can sit down and write how you feel in the moment, you may be able to identify exactly which direction your anxious thoughts are coming from.
Write Down Your To-Do List and then Prioritize Your Self-care First
Now that you have laid out the feelings and emotions associated with your anxiety, you are in the right space to make a list. This can be very overwhelming when you start but write it out anyway. Put all your expectations and responsibilities for the upcoming days.
Alright, take three deep breaths and then mark off anything that can be done later this week. Now, mark off anything that can be completed tomorrow. Next, all tasks can be done in a few hours.
By the time you get to the last few or one task, ask yourself,
“What can I do for myself before starting and completing this task.”
Showing An Attitude Of Gratitude
Being able to write down the things that you are grateful helps you ground your thoughts and see that although you may be struggling, you can persist.
I encourage you to take some time to write down 5 things you could be taking for granted. Now allow yourself to appreciate those things and be mindful of the impact your practice is having on your anxiety.
Are you willing to take the time to take care of you?
The reality is, it is up to you to acknowledge that you need to take steps to work through the unsettledness. As much as I wish there was a simple fix or immediate solution, the process of growth is one that you have to be open to for anything to change. So, take this one step. Do it for you.
Take a pen and paper or laptop and allow your mind to give its discontent to the universe through words.

An avid writer, Beatrix Potter has an interesting perspective when it comes to her work and her dedication to a healthy lifestyle.
What type of mother’s day cards will you send to your Mother that will make her feel amazing? The idea of a mother’s day card is to display how much you care, how much thought you put into it and how much you value your relationship.
When you take that into consideration, there are so many styles you can go for. That’s why today I’m giving you the choice of 5 awesome DIY Mother’s Day Cards.
Marvellous Mother’s Day Cards Made Easy On A Budget
Using Graphics For My Handmade Mother’s Day Cards
I decided to choose these wonderful designs from DesignBundles as they’re available in so many different styles, it will work perfectly. Not to mention, I can also sell whatever I make using the graphics from DesignBundles, how cool is that?!
Yes! You can too because the commercial licenses are included. I haven’t managed to discover another platform that offers commercial licenses included in the base price (they can cost up to a few hundred quid). You can then also get mockups on DesignBundles. Using Canva again, you can simply overlay your card designs onto these ‘mock’ backgrounds, like desks or walls. Mockups are traditionally used by designers for promotional materials; images, brochures, catalogues etc.
Of course, mother’s day cards aren’t just for ‘mums’. Some may have lost their parents and have a relative who has stepped into the Mother role, so you can make a heartfelt card for anyone using these graphics.
Now it’s time to cut the cards, we want to remove the grey line above or below the card so use a paper trimmer to get rid of it.
Use the middle grey line to act as a guide for folding, then use a bone folder or the back of a knife to ensure the crease is crisp.
Find a pretty washi tape to hide the spine and trim the ends very carefully.
Bonus ‘Hand Lettered’ Cards Using Real Pens
You can still print the following designs, but I wanted to test the Cricut Joy and their glitter pens so I decided to see what the print quality was like. If you have a Cricut Maker, you can do the same. You simply need the pen sets.
I uploaded the PNG files to the design space and added the pen to the little clamp. When I added the PNG file to the canvas within DesignSpace, make the png smaller, then hit ‘make’.
When you hit ‘make’, you can then select the card size and use the card mat to insert into the Cricut Joy, and continue. Let the machine work away and then I decided I actually wanted my lines filled in and did those by hand. But you can do them with filled lines using the machine. I just wanted to see how it looked first as an outline.
Et Voila! Your Mother’s Day Cards Are Ready
Making an impactful Mother’s day card may be incredibly daunting. Invest enough time and choose the type of card designs that suits your mum (or mother figure) and her personality. As you can see, you can buy the graphics (with commercial licenses) for a few pounds. Then you need some bright white card stock and you’re ready to go.
24 delicious healthy recipes from over the years that have helped me get back into better eating habits.
One of the #smallchangesinstead that I have on my list this year is (slowly) kicking bad food habits, by eating at least ONE healthier meal per day.
The idea is that one healthy meal will lead to another and another. But to start, the goal is just one a day, which feels like a solid baby step toward making bigger changes in the long run. Anyone else feel like they could use a fresh approach to healthy meals?
I’ve rounded up 24 delicious healthy(ish) recipes to make it as easy as possible to get started. And this list is filled with the good stuff! I’m not talking about calling it a day with a boring salad over here. There are smoothie bowl ideas, muffin recipes, mini flatbread pizzas, tacos…even desserts! And they’re all categorized by meal too: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert.
So not only does this recipe look beautiful. It tastes AMAZING too. And it’s super healthy. Chia seeds are extremely healthy with lots of fiber, quality protein, and tons of antioxidants. That makes chia seeds the perfect ingredient in a healthier recipe.
When I say easiest, I really mean it. The base of the bowl is just 2 ingredients. Everything else is up to you, and this post if full of good suggestions of what to add to your smoothie bowl. Me? I love adding berries, peanut butter, and some coconut flakes. That’s the best part about these smoothie bowls is that you can customize it however you like!
I know what you’re thinking. A pina colada for breakfast? Uh, yes please. This yogurt recipe is super delicious with a ton a great and healthy ingredients. It also can be made vegan with non-dairy yogurt and is sweet enough to be served as a desert too (while still being pretty healthy).
I couldn’t have a healthier recipe list without a green smoothie. But this smoothie isn’t like your average yucky green smoothie. This one is delicious and packed with super healthy things like spinach, chia seeds, and hemp seeds. All the ingredients have lots of good nutrients and will fill you up making this the perfect healthy breakfast.
Like I said, we’re looking for healthier recipes and this one definitely falls into that category. Why? Because it’s got a little bit of sugar, but it also has some great ingredients that are really healthy. Firstly, pumpkin is full of iron, zinc, and fiber. AND its an antioxidant which boosts your immune system. Rolled oats are also super good for you and are really filling so you don’t have to eat a lot to feel full.
Another delicious chia seed recipe. Who can resist all the healthy breakfast options chia seeds can give you? They fill you up quickly and are really nutritious. And they make the perfect match for delicious fruits in this healthy smoothie recipe.
So technically there are 3 healthy recipes in this post so you’re getting a little bit of a deal here. And all three of them are equally delicious and nutritious. These salads are perfect for making in large quantities and keeping in the fridge to snack on the whole week.
A yummy summer salad recipe! It’s best to wait until watermelons are in season to try this healthy recipe out. But when they are, you have to make this. Watermelons are not only a wonderful;y delicious summer fruit. They’re also very high in fiber and help you stay hydrated in the warmer (and sweatier) months.
I equate this recipe to an adult lunchable. Pack all the things you need to put this little naan pizza together, and make it right from your desk. You can also skip the naan all together and the left over ingredients make for an awesome little salad.
Putting a sweet spin on salad. Pecans are the costar of this healthy salad recipe which is good because they’re super good for you. Pecans help stabilize cholesterol, are rich in fiber, and are packing with protein. Which helps keep you energized and full for the whole work day.
The picture alone makes my mouth water. And while prosciutto isn’t the best, this is a healthier option to, say, a burger or anything else you could eat. But if it isn’t making the healthy recipe cut, nix the prosciutto and replace it with vegan bacon for a healthier alternative.
So a lot of people think pasta isn’t super healthy. But there are lots of different types of pasta and some are healthier than others. I like to use Banza pastas because they’re gluten free and made from chickpeas which are lower in carbs than regular pasta and are high in protein making this dish a filling meal.
I know this isn’t technically a dinner recipe. But you can sure as heck pair this up with a lunch recipe above to make an amazing healthy meal. Corn has a lot of B12, folic acid, and iron. And lemons are equally healthy with lots of vitamin C. Which makes this a healthier dinner recipe for nights that you want a lighter meal.
This is a great recipe while the weather is still chilly and cold. This soup is SOUPER easy to make (get it?) and is full of delicious and healthy ingredients like… Sweet potatoes (which are full of fiber and are great for digestion) beans (which are full of protein making this a filling soup) and kale (which is a super food that is loaded with nutrients).
My mom has requested it several times recently when she comes to visit and I love making it because it’s so, so easy for feeding a crowd. Sometimes I bake garlic bread with it too, but since we’re going healthier, I’ll guess I’ll skip the bread for now.
A sweet spin on a typically savory dish. These tacos are a healthier dinner option and are real tasty. If you’re looking for a vegan option, you can skip the chicken and add a meat alternative.
I’ve had the Gardein Meatless Chick’n Strips before and they’re not bad at all. Especially when they’re tossed with other yummy ingredients. Morningstar Farms has some too, which I think taste pretty good.
Another taco recipe because tacos are amazing. Am I right? This ones a great summer recipe because who doesn’t want to spend an awesome summer day grilling up some yummy shrimp for a healthier taco recipe? Shrimp is really good for you too with lots of omega-3s which are great for brain health. So in this case, gimme all the tacos. Haha.
As another option, skip the taco part all together and just do the skewered shrimp with the glaze (so good).
Dessert and pizza being used in the same sentence sounds a bit strange. Especially while talking about healthy recipes. But this recipe is very tasty (my dad used to make these when my brother and I were kids) and a healthier option. Equally satisfying to the average ice cream and cake dessert, btw.
I originally made this as a breakfast recipe, but who says you can’t have breakfast for desert? Especially when its as tasty as this healthy recipe. I didn’t know this, but figs are great source of a wide variety of vitamins minerals like vitamin A, C, and K. And it has lots of potassium, magnesium, and zinc. All nutrients you need to stay in tip top shape.
With healthy in the name, how could I not add this to the list. This popsicle really makes detoxing delicious which sounds like a difficult task. With nutrient dense foods like kale and spinach, this popsicle takes the cake (pun intended) as a healthy desert recipe.
Looking for an easy dessert option? This healthy dessert recipe is for you. These no bake energy balls are as nutritious as they are delicious and I’m not just saying that. I mean, who doesn’t love a desert recipe with peanut butter and chocolate chips that is also healthy?
Just hearing creamsicle takes me back to summers as a kid. And this recipe is equally nostalgic as it is tasty. It’s a great alternative to processed desserts you find in a grocery store and full of vitamin C from all the oranges. It’s truly the perfect summer treat.
Berries and cream anyone? This popsicle recipe only has 3 ingredients so it’s super easy and really yummy. Plus, mangoes are so good for your digestion and berries are packed with antioxidants. So that makes for the perfect healthy dessert recipe.
And those are all my healthier recipes. I’m not sure if I could pick a favorite because I honestly love them all. But enough about me… I’m so curious to know which one of these is your favorite or if you have any go-to healthier recipes for getting back on track.
Which of these healthier recipes is your fave? What one do you think you’d be most likely to eat at home?
Implementing better mental health habits means you feel good about yourself. You feel good about others as well as being able to cope with your daily life. It’s possible that you will need to seek professional help, which I highly recommend.
You can start simply at home, finding ways to better your emotional health individually. That way you will be able to improve your mood and your overall well-being. Mindfulness meditation transformed my life back in 2014 and I would highly recommend to everyone and anyone to try.
Developing healthy mental health habits may seem like an uphill battle, and slightly overwhelming. Trust me when I tell you that practising little habits every day, can improve it. Small things add up and could make a huge difference to your happiness. You also get fully equipped emotionally so you can be able to overcome any future challenges in life, approaching everything with a surprising level head.
The Easiest Positive Mental Health Habits You Need To Start Now
1.Speak To Yourself With Kindness
According to a publication about saliva drug tests, the way you think about yourself can adversely affect your feelings. (Uh Doi?) If you think about negative things about yourself, then your feelings to are going to be negative.
The best thing is to practice using positive words that will encourage you, give you hope, and motivation. For instance, instead of saying to yourself, “I am not worth for that position. The interview was hard so that job is not mine”, try to tell yourself words like “Interviews are rarely easy but I know I’m ready for the challenge this job will bring”.

2. Focus on The Present, Also Known As Mindfulness
You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one. If you want to focus on the present, you must let go of the negative emotions or difficulties you encountered in the past.
Try to bring awareness to your day to day activities like eating lunch, having a walk in the park and many others. Every day try your best to bring your mind to focus on what you are doing at the moment.
Research shows that physical exercise is good for our bodies as well as our minds. When you get at least 20 minutes of cardio activity every morning before you go to work, your body produces stress-relieving and mood-boosting endorphins and this helps to relieve anxiety and depression.
Try to incorporate exercise to your day like playing a team sport, working out, or going on a short walk every morning. Ensure you can get at least 30 minutes to exercise outdoors daily whether before you go to work or before. Remember, when you expose your body to sunlight, your body produces vitamin D that is helpful when it comes to the production of serotonin in the brain.
4. Mind What You Eat
Everything you consume affects all of you. Your brain, your organs, everything.
What if there was just one thing standing between you and a healthier life?
I know it seems hard to believe but hear me out…
Healthy meals don’t just happen.
(Wouldn’t that be nice?)
You have to decide what you’re eating, make your list, buy the ingredients, and then prepare everything.
And the domino that starts it all is knowing what you’re going to eat.
In other words, the path to health begins with a plan.
5. Get Enough Sleep
Research has linked sleep deprivation to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Getting enough sleep makes you wake up the following day feeling well-rested and enables your mind to function well.
Therefore, try to have specific times when you go to bed and practice good habits before you go to sleep and your sleeping style plays a big role in your sleep quality, which means it might be time for you to switch it up.
In this case, you need to avoid watching TV or using your smartphone when it’s time to sleep as these habits could make you not to get better sleep. Also, avoid caffeinated drinks, I take two cups of coffee in the morning and no more after that. Everything after approximately 1 pm is decaffeinated. Whether it’s green tea or black tea, it’s all decaf!
You may also want to try using Pure Golden CBD Oils. We discovered these through these guys, UK CBD specialists Reactive Plus . The oil we used helped reduce anxiety and seemed to increase relaxation which helped sleep. Relentlessness throughout the night was also reduced ensuring a much deeper and rewarding nights rest. It may take a week or so for the CBD oils to take effect in the body , so beware of that if you are looking to try some.
Seek Professional Support When Needed
It does you no harm when you ask for professional support when it comes to matters to do with your mental health. If your mental health status gets serious, try your best to seek help from mental health professionals. Let your family members and friends know when you are in need.
It’s your time to take the next step to improve your mental health. Do not wait until it’s late. Remember, it’s easier to form new habits when your body and mind are still strong. Incorporate the things we have outlined above into your daily routine to improve your mental health today.

Large tote bags like these, are brilliant for storing a wide range of things from children’s toys to nightwear, shoes, and towels. If you want to store yarn, definitely go for a waterproof bag. Just in case. There was an incident with coffee and I still get emotional talking about it.
They’re also highly convenient as they can be easily hung from pegs on the back of the door (check these out for pretty!) meaning they won’t take up much excess room at all.
Furthermore, tote bags are lightweight and easy to carry around so can be taken with you on family holidays without much problem!
I own a gigantic version of this from approximately It stores pretty much.. all of my pens. Which is ideal. If you need to have all of your office supplies in one place, instead of everywhere else in your home, grab one of these mini carousels!
I’ve been following Torie Jayne for years and I’m sure you can see why!
Her little sewing corner is absolutely beautiful and full of my favourite pastel shades.
Go up the wall with shelving and use acrylic drawers and organization to store your supplies.
Torie Jayne also has a giant dresser for her supplies and uses hooks and little wire baskets to store her fabric. Are we even going to talk about those Trunks?! Holy crap! They’re amazing. I’m in love with those colours. They’re my go-to shades for colour meditations.
This craft room is absolutely stunning! I’m obsessed with Raskog carts and the fact that this one has been utilised for sewing is ideal. Finding somewhere to store a sewing machine can be a genuine pain, this portable solution is fab.

Today I’m sharing some rather stunning open fireplace ideas to help you make your living room somewhere you want to spend time.
One of the easiest ways to get more cosiness in your decor is by updating and decorating your fireplace. There’s nothing nicer than a quiet evening at home with your significant other getting snuggly.
Exquisitely Romantic Open Fireplace Ideas For Optimum Cozy
Decorating your fireplace is an excellent place to start. So what steps can you follow to make this a focal point and create the ultimate cosy setting? And how do you go about finding the perfect romantic fireplace for your home? Let’s find out!
Staying In vs. Going Out – Why Staying In Doesn’t Have to be Boring
It’s important to recognise the importance of quality time when spending the evening with a loved one. This involves spending time interacting with one another and talking in-depth. Without interruptions from others or a whole load of background noise.
So, choosing between spending the evening in your own home or at a crowded restaurant seems like a no-brainer. After all, the most popular eateries and clubs are often crowded and noisy. As someone who is incredibly sensitive to light and sound, that’s a living nightmare. It also makes it hard to enjoy a meaningful conversation that can be heard above all that noise.
Still Not Convinced?
You’ll also have far greater freedom at home in terms of how you sit and connect with one another. Set the ambience with your slow jam of choice and some fairy lights for a snuggly night in with your boo.
It’s also possible to combine lots of different activities in the comfort of your own home, whilst saving money. Being on a budget doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy an intimate and rewarding experience.
You can even dance freely to a soundtrack of your choice, without bumping into others or showcasing your questionable moves to the rest of the world!
Open Fireplace Ideas and Gathering Around the Fireplace
If you decide to spend a quiet, romantic night at home, there’s arguably nothing more gratifying than gathering around your fireplace.
However, you need the right type of fireplace to serve as a focal point in your home – one that will ideally provide uncompromising views of its flames, and a striking surround or brick inset.
It’s also well-placed to serve as a focal point for the living room and your cosy night in, particularly if you deploy soft lighting to help the fireplace and its flames to stand out.
How to Decorate Your Open Fireplace ideas and Make it Cosy
Regardless of the precise type of fireplace that you have, you can adorn and decorate it to create a cosy and inviting environment.
Certainly, fireplaces that replicate the look of real flames are what a lot of people want, as they’re indicative of warmth, coziness and romance. So, even if you don’t own a traditional wood-burning stove, you can achieve a similar look and feel in your home with minimum fuss.
Decorating the fireplace with candles is one of my favourite ways to get a cosy feel. This is generally considered to be a safe practice, so long as you don’t burn artificial logs or have a fireplace that features a pilot light.
When decorating the fireplace, don’t forget to consider the overall look of the fireplace; the whole show. That means the fireplace, surround, mantle, and wall space above.
Decorating Your Open Fireplace with Photos
In terms of the former, we’d recommend dotting the mantlepiece with old photographs or carefully selected vintage ornaments. It creates a reassuring sense of nostalgia that puts people at ease. You could also place some decorative flowers here, as these will also introduce a pleasant and alluring fragrance to the room.
As for the space located above the fireplace, why not consider hanging an eye-catching picture or an ornate mirror?

Decluttering your room can be a hard task. Getting rid of things we’ve been holding onto for long is hard. As a craftsman, you need to know which extra piece of paper or scrap will come in handy. Scrap will eventually add up and become more of a burden to a crafter’s room.
It is essential to sort through everything you have before you get to decluttering. To have a complete and successful decluttering process, you need to have a positive attitude.
Craft Room Decluttering Tips Guaranteed To Make Decluttering Easier
The first place to start is with one thing. Make sure to tackle one piece of furniture at a time. As you unload, you will be spotting some items you don’t need. Bag them as trash and donate some of the stuff you don’t need. After making sure the room is free from furniture, make sure to clean it.
When it comes to smaller items like drawers, of course, you can pull everything out and throw away any trash but recycle almost everything you possibly can. Deal with as many items as you possibly can, including storage bins before moving on to the next step.
Clean your room thoroughly, and make sure to vacuum all the crannies and nooks. Make the place look brand new. The first step to a really good clean is to invest in a good mop to help you deep clean the dirt from your floors as well. You should strive to make the room feel brand new before you start organizing it.
Phase One Of Getting Your Dream Home Office Or Craft Room
You don’t have to be a professional organizer to clear out this room or another room in your home, there are plenty of resources available to you! First, I must tell you about this decluttering Bootcamp that I took. It was a huge kick in the butt, which was desperately needed. Due to disabilities, I grabbed a family member and we were able to fill a trash bag and clear a small storage space quite quickly.
Before you start organizing your room, it is imperative to separate all craft supplies by category. It helps to determine the number of crafts purchased over time. And this is where you will find supplies you forgot ever existed. At this point, you shouldn’t worry about organizing. Your main goal is to separate. By separating, you will have an easy time going through what you need to keep. Be sure to expect a mess before it gets better. Decluttering starts with a pile of mess.
Decluttering Tip #1 Give away craft supplies you don’t need
With an organized room, you are bound to have craft supplies you don’t need. Craft supplies that are not required are bound to come with a guilty conscience. It all boils down to the money spent and the time taken to create these crafts.
Decluttering means it is time to let go and move on. When you get rid of unwanted supplies, the guilt goes away too. You can easily donate your unwanted craft supplies to different people or organizations.
Having similar craft supplies together
After giving away supplies no longer enjoyed or needed, you are left with craft supplies you have a passion for. Note this is far from the organization phase of the craft room. Before putting supplies in containers, make sure to go through each craft category. Make sure to put similar craft supplies together. You don’t need to be orderly at this point as you are merely sorting like supplies.
Purge together items remaining in your craft room
After decluttering, you are left with generic and random things. Consider getting rid of items such as broken items, craft magazines, dried up glue, dried up empty paints, and more. Other things to get rid of include unfinished projects, tools you no longer use, outdated patterns, and more. If you have projects that you never got time to start, you need to let go of them. At this point, you should consider the project a sunk cost.
Best Decluttering Tip: Take five minutes every single day to clear flat surfaces, use creative ways to tidy every room in your home.
Organizing the craft area with designated spaces
After decluttering your space, it is time to create some order. And this is where the fun part begins. The first thing to think about is the craft room space. Will you have a shared space? Is it a craft space and an office room altogether?
Knowing what your craft room space looks like gives you an idea of what to work with. Every craft supply you have needs a designated area. You should also think about your wall space and consider treating yourself to a Dreambox unit.
Organizing a crafty haven should not be elaborate or expensive. Most people may not have enough money to buy fancy bins and containers. You can work around this by having plastic food containers. The possibilities of having cheap containers are endless. To have a successfully organized room means ensuring items are placed in designated spaces. You can use labels on these affordable organization ideas.
Phase Two – Organizational guidelines
When decluttering your room, ensure you create an accessible system and ensure your furniture enables that. The Kallax unit was bad because it was difficult to keep things divided and completely organized. It became too easy to hide things in boxes in that large unit. However, with the Dreambox unit, everything is within easy reach. Even for a disabled lady with joint and pain problems.
Everything should be reachable and should feel natural when reaching for items. Keep primary equipment, supplies, and tools in central locations. Having stuff you continuously use in arm’s length will make things easier. Secondary tools should go to secondary places nearby.
Do you have a container backup stash? Keep one or two storage boxes nearby to store unwanted projects. You can have a box which is perfect for a new system. Before you go shopping for new containers, it is imperative to look at the stash you have. You will be surprised by some of the containers that are already in your custody.
Be flexible with your decluttering system as well as how you approach it. You will always get tons of ideas that will work, but choose the one which fits your room. You can always change it up later. Remember, what you put in place today may not work a few months from now. You should expect such changes and be flexible as time goes by.
Phase 3 – Finally, you should focus on function, plan, and form
The space you create needs to function. This means the craft room needs to fit your style. When scrapping, a standing isle is useless when you prefer to sit down. These are some of the functionalities you need to be on the lookout for.
Anything you incorporate in your decluttering plan needs to be thought out in advance. What tools do you need? Are you going to order your own Dreambox or Sewing Station?
You need to create a little studio space where you will be comfortable spending your time. Make sure you don’t stick yourself in a dark place. Find a space where natural light is available. Choose your primary colors perfectly to achieve a great craft space, or even a pastel rainbow!
It only takes a little time and effort to get the challenge we choose to complete. As we can see from these various tips and tricks, it is totally possible to improve your craft room. So, give it a try!
